It's been a long year music-wise and every year I always look forward to the mash-up offering by DJ Earworm. He brilliantly puts together in one seamless flow the songs that made their mark in 2012. The official video for 'United State of Pop 2012' will be unveiled on December 25th.
With every news story I read, every interview I watch regarding the horrific events that happened last week in Newtown, CT I always find myself coming back to one song. Sometimes one song replaces the need to say how you feel...or puts into words the emotions of disbelief and horror and that sense of being completely overwhelmed. This song by Live became the unintended official tribute song for 9-11.
Last Sunday was cold, windy and miserable and I found myself listening to this new track on repeat for most of the day.
The song is from the Australian buzz band, Dancing Heals.

I love DJs for many reasons but especially when they can take a song and remix it to the point where they make it so completely different....different vibe, different feel, and essentially turn in into a different song. It's an incredible talent. And here are one of those examples...
