Music for End of Days

Time is of the Essence When Planning an 'End of Days' Playlist

Judgement Day.
The Rapture.
The Apocalypse.
End Of Days.
Doomsday.
End of the world.

So I take it you've heard? The end of the world is fast approaching.

It's all supposed to happen tomorrow, Saturday. May 21, 2011...at 6 p.m.

That's if you are to believe all the 'signs' we've been getting....and cue the random incidents of wicked, unpredictable weather, never ending natural disasters, the unexplained birds falling out of the sky (especially those scary blackbirds), the thousands of dead fish and crabs floating ashore and Oprah leaving daytime television.

Tick tock. Tick tock.

Quite frankly, I'm just pissed off that it's my birthday Saturday and I'm afraid I won't get my piece of required cake and glass or two of Baby Duck. But I digress. And cue the rolling of the eyes.

Regardless, I'm getting my nails and hair done just in case. I mean I want to look good.

Plus I personally am more apt to go with the Nostradamus prophecies (slightly obsessed with the History Channel I am) for the end of days...if only because he's giving me until 2012 to complete my bucket list, my travel bucket list and my concert bucket list (and while we're at it, crossing off one or two on my Top 5 Laminated List).

But to be accommodating for those who have started the 'final countdown'....I believe that proper 'end of the world' planning isn't complete without the official 'end of the world' playlist. Granted, some of the songs are about the 'end of the world' are in song title only or emotions you'd be feeling the day of...but come on, I wasn't being too picky....I mean time is of the essence right now...or the lack thereof.

Enjoy.

And if you're one that loves getting sucked into this end of days drama...this just might be that case where a single soundtrack is all you need. And one that comes to mind that makes any situation and experience totally memorable and epic....
