Ashton Lane

The Redhead from Scotland

“She’s sizzling because she’s got one of the best voices in the scene.” ~(The Daily Record ‘Hot Scots list’)

Ashton Lane (Esther O'Connor) is a little KT Tunstall, meets Michelle Branch, meets Vanessa Carlton, meets Sheryl Crow, meets Stevie Nicks. And she comes from all things musical....her dad Graeme Duffin played with Wet Wet Wet...and she started song writing at age 14.

Ashton's music is somewhere between modern country and the great west coast singer-songwriter pop music of the 60′s and 70′s.  This redheaded singer/songwriter from Scotland is a unique voice (in today's overly produced pop scene)....and it's a refreshing one at that.

Her sound is familiar yet she makes it uniquely her own. She has an effortless and beautiful voice that you just want to keep listening to over and over again.  Brilliant.  And her lion's mane of red hair.....fabulous.
