Canadian indie singer/songwriter James Struthers is back with a new album called 'One Track Mind'. The album is now available on iTunes and I'm expecting everyone to go and buy it.
And it has nothing to do with the fact that the song he wrote about me made it on this latest release. Cough. Cough.
But come on how many freaking times do you get a song written about you? Especially when your name is 'Consuelo' — hello! It's reason as any to break out the chilled bottle of Baby Duck.
With that all said, James is ridiculously talented and his music really does need to be heard — think Jack Johnson meets Jason Mraz meets 'debut album' by John Mayer.
Anyways I'll be the first person to champion the talent that is Mr. Struthers — and he may have future lawyer in a courtroom aspirations but selfishIy I hope he always sticks with the music thing - James Struthers Juno Award winner has a nice ring to it. Just saying'.
And to James…I'm glad we crossed paths. Now go forth and promote the new album damn it! xo
