Their daily and weekly updates are in-depth, have beautiful pictures, and include the popular "your baby is the size of this fruit". This neat app was developed in the UK by a charity organization wanting to provide great support for all expecting moms. My favourite feature is the cool avatar (cartoon character) you can customize to talk with you. They have the weekly info and an extensive automated resource to which you can ask any question you have. This app covers development out of utero and up to 6 months old.

This app has information and tracking but it's differentiator is that it is a social networks for expecting moms. You can connect with women all over the world and easily start or join forums on many topics. There is also a curated store for baby products.

For the virtual reality lovers, this app has the coolest 3D modelled images along with movement and heartbeats so you can envision exactly what your little fetus looks like. It also has checklists, daily/weekly info, kick counters and contraction timers.

Cat loves tech and tech loves Cat… well most of the time.
After Cat realized that her dream of being a professional back-up dancer was not in the cards, she pursued a career in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Cat spent over a decade working in the software department for a popular smart phone company where she wore many hats as developer, software architect and manager of very clever people. She has also been known to wear a toque because Waterloo is in the snow belt. The best project she’s ever worked on was a joint effort with her husband that produced two wonderful girls.
