Great Celebrity Mom Style: Jennifer Garner

Comfy and casual does not have to mean frumpy and unattractive

Great Celebrity Mom Style: Jennifer Garner

It's no secret that I really, really enjoy Jennifer Garner. She seems super genuine and down-to-earth, and watching her break down while talking about how the paparazzi scares her children was almost too much to bear. She's a mama bear, through and through, regardless of her job.

A mama bear who happens to have awesome mama style.

I love to look at actresses all dressed up in their red-carpet dresses—it's one of my favorite things, actually. But as another mom of three young ones, seeing how celebrities dress off of the red-carpet is a much more practical—and easy to emulate—endeavor.

Her wardrobe is filled with what a lot of ours are—short booties, skinny jeans, sweatshirts, striped shirts, flats, and simple blouses.

But she always looks good.

One of the tricks I see that seems to be a good rule of thumb is this—Don't wear baggy on baggy; don't wear fitted on fitted. It's best to wear an adorable flowy top with fitted jeans, and it's best to pair loose, boyfriend jeans with a fitted top. Jennifer does a great job with this. (Also, you'll probably need to get yourself a great pair of sunglasses.)

Remember: Comfy and casual does not have to mean frumpy and unattractive.

The good thing for us, of course, is that we don't need to have a big actress budget to dress like this—and almost all of these pieces are under $50!
