Design Inspiration for Baby Nurseries

Room To Grow

Design Inspiration for Baby Nurseries

I have had a passion for two things my whole life: beautiful design and children.

Now, because my life has taken some amazing turns in the past year, I have decided to follow a life long dream: I am now decorating rooms for children. I love the patterns, the colours, the whimsy, the fun you can have when decorating a space for a child. I am just about finished a space for a tween that is {if I do say so myself} sooooo fabulous! I can't wait to share it with you soon.

I am kind of obsessed with nurseries at the moment. I would love to design one soon! Until then, here are some beautiful photos of nurseries that inspire me:

I have playing around with Olioboard lately, which is totally addictive. It is a site that allows you to try design before you take the plunge. You can create inspiration boards for rooms using real products that you love. I find it so useful for pulling looks together. Here is my first nursery room olioboard. It's a little on the girly side, but then, so am I.

If you want to see links for where to shop for all of the beautiful furniture and accessories, click here.

Fingers crossed, I will be soon sharing a nursery that I have designed for a client!
