Blind Boy's Blues Performance Will Blow Your Mind

Canada's very own guitar hero

Blind Boy's Blues Performance Will Blow Your Mind

This young Quebec boy may have been born blind, but he has no reason to sing the blues after a video showcasing his amazing musical ability quickly went viral. Little Felix performed BB King's "Every Day I Have the Blues" in his pyjamas while at a camp run by the Quebec Foundation for the Blind.

Three months premature, Felix suffered from retinal detachment, which caused him to be born blind. Yet the condition hasn't dampened his passion for music.

According to an interview with his step-dad, Charles Bertrand, on Right This Minute, Felix taught himself to play guitar at age six. Assuming they'd left the radio on in the kitchen, his parents stumbled upon the boy's immense talent quite by accident.

Prepare to be blown away by this remarkable performance. Looks like Canada has another Jeff Healey on its hands.

Japanese Retailer Sells Bras . . . For Men

Because Guys need support, too—or do they?

Japanese Retailer Sells Bras . . . For Men

Women aren't the only ones fighting the losing fight against gravity that comes with age. Women aren't the only ones who need support in the guise of an over-the-shoulder boulder holder.

According to an article in the Mirror, guys in Japan with "man boobs," aka "moobs," can now purchase a bra specially made for their sagging pecs.

Yes, The Floral Goodnight Bra, otherwise known as the Kahei Oyasumi Bra, is designed to be worn while a man sleeps to provide "round-the-clock protection against the effects of gravity."

"...if a man has good pectoral muscles he is at just the same risk as a woman of having them gradually stretched and left out of shape," said Kaku Nishioka, owner of a Tokyo shop that sells the bra. "A man who wears this bra to bed at night will find everything is held firmly in place and looking good the next day."

OK, she says dubiously. Assuming that is true, it begs the question: why does the bra come as part of a set with matching (floral) underwear?

Methinks someone is looking for a socially acceptable excuse to cross-dress, no? Lads, if you genuinely want to keep those pecs firm, may I suggest the occasional bench press...

What do you say to the man bra—yay or no way?

And while you're at it, dads, nab a pair of these bad boys...

Plus-Size Women Flaunt Their Bodies In #Fatkini Campaign

Lose hate, not weight

Plus-Size Women Flaunt Their Bodies In #Fatkini Campaign

It's the height of bikini season, and instead of hiding under cover-ups, many overweight or obese women are proudly flaunting their figures in two-piece swimwear as part of a social media campaign.

According to an article in the New York Post, women have posted proud images of themselves on Instagram and Twitter under the hashtag #fatkini.

It seems businesses are finally realizing that women come in all manner of shapes and sizes, and one fashion retailer has found its niche market in plus-size bikinis.

“It’s been about five years since my company started designing bikinis for plus-size women, and it’s amazing to see women [who] previously hid in the shadows feel good enough about themselves to post their picture on the Internet,” said Monif Clarke, a CEO of an unnamed plus-size brand.

Indeed, as evidenced by the backlash against this recent Gap ad, not all thin women are unhealthy, nor are all overweight women.

“Lose hate, not weight” is the slogan of Nique, whose #fatkini image garnered more than 100 'likes.'

If obesity poses known health risks, isn't this kind of body pride misguided? Shouldn't we be striving for #fitkini instead, regardless of size?
