Dog's Ecstatic Reunion With Family Member Is Everything

Reunited and it feels so good...

Dog's Ecstatic Reunion With Family Member Is Everything

For a dog who hadn't seen a beloved family member for a long time, the reunion was too sweet to handle. Watch what happens in the video below (courtesy of the Independent) when Rebecca Ehalt greets her schnauzer, Casey, for the first time in two years.

Ehalt, who'd been living and working in Slovenia, had just returned to her native Murrysville, Pennsylvania.

The dogtastic video has been viewed by more than 1.5 million times on Youtube.

Casey can be seen seen whimpering and then literally collapsing from the shock. Is it any wonder? After all, two years is 14 for a pooch.

Take that, team cat. Really, no one does welcome home quite like a canine—whether you've been away 2 hours or 2 years.

This kitty saved the day in a totally unexpected situation.

Family Launches Appeal To Help Triplets With Rare Cancer

does anybody know the Marriotts?

Family Launches Appeal To Help Triplets With Rare Cancer

As if the odds of having identical triplets (without IVF) weren't rare enough, the seven-month-old boys are all fighting a rare form of eye cancer known as retinoblastoma. The Lows have appealed for affordable accommodation in Toronto while their boys get treatment at Sick Kids Hospital.

According to an article in the Huffington Post, the family from Cardston, Alberta, has been "overwhelmed" at the response from the public after posting the following appeal:

"Does anybody have a condo in Toronto that they lease for 6 months time??? Or even better, does anybody know the Marriott family??? :) We aren't looking for a freebie," wrote mom Leslie Low on the family's blog last week.

"We are looking for a possible option that isn't a 12 month lease, and isn't $5000/month. You may think I am kidding, but a 6-month rental for a furnished 2 bedroom condo near the hospital runs $4,000-5,000 a month. We just booked their hotel for the chemo treatment in 3 weeks and it's $3885, for a 10 day stay..."

Some 80,000 site visitors and 300 emails later, the Lows have seen their spirits "buoyed" by the outpouring of kindness Canadians have shown them.

The family remains adamant that it is not seeking donations, and urges the public to avoid potential scammers. The Lows' official YouCaring fundraiser page has raised more than twice the original $30,000 goal to cover travel fees while the babies undergo chemotherapy out of province.

If you or someone you know can help, please contact the Lows directly via e-mail, or visit their blog.
