If your children are like my daughter, they love to splash in the bathtub! I hate nagging my daughter to stop splashing and making a mess with water on the floor. Isn't bathtime supposed to be fun?!
So in a stroke of brilliance (if I do say so myself) I installed a second tension-mounted shower rod behind the existing one and hung a clear shower curtain on it. I got one like this (link goes to Bed Bath & Beyond) to add some much-needed storage for the mountain of bath toys she has accumulated.
Now when she has a bath and wants to splash, I can simply close the clear curtain and still see what's going on, and she can splash to her heart's content (practicing her mermaid tail splashes is a favourite) and my floors stay dry!
