Fix For The Reluctant Biker

My little girl just couldn't get the hang of a two-wheeler. Without her training wheels, she would peer down at her toes until she crashed into, well, anything. Instead of forking out for an expensive glider, we took off the pedals and the chain of her regular bike until she learned how to push and glide to get her balance.

Every child should learn this way!

Once she got her balance and the chain and wheels back on, she was off, literally, the first time with no help.

Save yourself a pain in the back and save your child several bruises using this technique. If you don't know how to get the pedals and chain off, your local bike store should be more than happy to help you out. If my lovelybut very uncoordinatedgirl can do it, I am sure most kids can master this technique.
