Cook Squash In Your Crock Pot

Making squash in the crock pot is very easy!

Wash your squash (I love butternut) prick all over with a fork or knife. Put it in your crock pot, cover and cook on low. If the squash is too tall for your pot just exchange the lid for foil instead. Lift out carefully, slice in half remove the seeds and scoop out the flesh. Season with salt, pepper, butter, and a bit of brown sugar.

This is also great if you're having company and your oven is already full with other things. Enjoy.

Hi I am a mom of two and love all things mom! Enjoy cooking and baking and looking after my family. I love being creative and coming up with great ideas to share through my writing. I enjoy second hand shopping and getting awesome deals. I have a voracious appetite for knowledge and a curiosity of life that I hope to pass on to my children.
