Author Profile: 

Tara is a mom of two boys, 15 and 7, and lives in The Junction area of Toronto. She spent the first half of her parenting years as a single parent, as the young mom in the playground, got married, had a second, and then realized she is now one of the older ones. Some of her parenting styles and techniques have changed, but some have not. She has a lot of advice and opinons, good and bad! Tara had a major health crisis a few years back, and has dedicated this upcoming year to getting her life back together, and part of that process is a being positive, and saying YES to any and all (within reason, let's keep this PG people!) activites or requests that come her way. Tara has realized that you only get one crack at life, and she doesn't want to blow it. 

About my kids: 

I have a big boy, 15, and a little one, 7. They are my shining stars. I am one of those moms that live for summer holidays, and dread back to school time. I would home school them if I could, but I am pretty sure my life lessons and learnings are better given out in small doses!

a job and I do it like a BOSS.

When are you at your yummiest?: 

When am I NOT at my yummiest??!!??

What's currently in your purse?: 

Lip Gloss, Mac Lipstick Twig colour. A bunch of dust from a Pixie stick. A million hair elastics. Particip-action wristbands. Receipts I will never, ever get around to filing. A pair of dirty kids Lego undies. A tiny telescope. Either I'm a typical mom, or I am trying to get chosen on Let's Make A Deal.

What superhero power would you like to have?: 

I think we all want to fly.

If we gave you an elephant, where would you hide it?: 

In the room, of course.
