About my kids:
Nearly three years ago, after a premature delivery and almost a month in the NICU, I welcomed home my beautiful, healthy son and daughter. My daughter is a goofy, determined, and chatty girl whose best friends include her twin brother, Abby Cadaby, and Elmo (Shh! don't tell the others). She loves to sing and is currently obsessed with Annie. My son is a bright-eyed, playful, mover and shaker. He loves to climb and wants nothing more than to be chased. He has a way of cuddling and resting his hand on your cheek that tells you that no matter what is happening, everything will be okay.
Parenting is...:
the only job that violates all employment standards that could keep me coming back day after day. In its simplest- parenting is connecting. It's about building a foundation that allows our children to thrive knowing they are loved and supported. It's not about making the path a smooth one for our children but rather, giving them to tools to manage the rough roads and appreciate the beauty along the way. For me, parenting is incredibly challenging but exponentially more fun.
We know you don't have a lot, but when you do, what do you like to do in your spare time?:
Binge-watch Veep, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and House of Cards. Eat sushi. Write.
When are you at your yummiest?:
When i'm playing with my kids in a completely confident and uninhibited way.
If someone wrote a biography about you, what would be the title?:
Laughing all the way
What's currently in your purse?:
My wallet, diapers, wipes, and fruit pouches.
What superhero power would you like to have?:
To dissolve my body so that I can get myself out from under my children once they've fallen asleep.
If we gave you an elephant, where would you hide it?:
I wouldn't. I would keep it in the middle of the room where no one talks about it.
