With a background in fine arts, and my qualifications as an elementary teacher,  I spent several years marrying my passion for the Arts with my love of working with children in both the classroom and gallery setting.  Since having my third child, I have begun to reevaluate my true passion in life and what I wanted to spend my days doing.  So I now balance my time between managing the home front, child rearing, and freelance art projects.  

 

About my kids: 

Three cuddly and quirky kids who surprise me at every turn. My 6 year old daughter has a love of the Arts and can always be found making up a new jingle, or painting her latest masterpiece. My 4 year old son would spend every waking hour playing super heroes and Lego or super heroes with Lego. My new guy is 5 months and slays me with his smile.

Parenting is...: 

providing both my most proudest and most abashed moments. It is a complex combination of sleepless nights, overwhelming guilt, tantrums, sweet cuddles, profound lessons and boundless love.

What's currently in your purse?: 

Wallet, lip gloss, spare toddler undies, diapers and wipes, epi-pens, random crumpled receipts from the past year...it's a big purse.

What superhero power would you like to have?: 

Invisibility so I could nap in public without judgement.
