Author Profile:
Sleep deprived working mother of 2 boys (one on the Autism spectrum). A blogger since 2004, I’ve been chronicling my life through many changes, from career woman, to girlfriend, to wife to mother and beyond. Now living on a “my child is in daycare and all my money goes to paying fees” budget. Ask me how fun that is. It has been a long and winding road and blogging gives me a way to explore and share all the things that make me happy. It also gives me a way to record the little things in life because my memory isn’t what it used to be. Sleep deprivation is a bitch.
About my kids:
The Preshus (8) loves Ninja Turtles, Pokemon and all things Lego. The Peanut (6) was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at age 3, every day is a learning experience.
Parenting is...:
Parenting is like a box of chocolates. Mostly sweet and delicious, (sometimes filled with booze) and always a couple of nuts thrown in.

The Adventures of a Nerdy Mom
What's currently in your purse?:
A Leuchtturm1917 dot grid notebook (black) a pencil case with an astonishing array of coloured pens, my wallet, a portable battery charger, an umbrella, multi-vitimins, nail clippers, superhero bandaids, polysporin (mom of boys), an iPod and probably Lego of some kind.
What superhero power would you like to have?:
If we gave you an elephant, where would you hide it?:
In my mom's back yard. She loves elephants.
