Lorena is a Colombian-born, Toronto-based momtrepreneur. Prior to founding MommiesFirst, Lorena spent her entire professional career in finance. She has held investment roles in various US and Canadian venture capital and private equity funds. She has also worked for Seventeen Magazine and at UBS in the Media & Technology investment banking group. Lorena holds a M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College.In her spare time, Lorena loves spending time with her family, running, and writing. She is a part-time blogger (aladymba.blogspot.ca) and full-time wife, mother, and businesswoman. Lorena is the very proud mom of two young boys, Sebastian and Alistair.
About my kids:
I have to little boys (ages 3 and newly turned 1) who inspire me every day. They teach me so much about life and love!

We know you don't have a lot, but when you do, what do you like to do in your spare time?:
I'm a runner and a writer - each provide a outlet for stress and creativity. When I start to get grumpy, often my husband say - "go for a run" or "go write". They are my therapy!
