Author Profile:

Janeen Joyce is the founder of Fashion Assist, a place for ‘real-life’ women to come for ‘real-life’ fashion advice. Her goal is to help women look and dress their best each and every day. In today’s world of quick-changing fashion, this can be difficult for many women to do. So she has provided a comfortable and affordable place where they can come, be educated and learn how to be the best version of themselves and let their clothes be that too.

After finishing high school, Janeen decided to pursue an education and career in Fashion Arts. She graduated with Honours from a three-year Fashion Arts program at Seneca College. Janeen later worked her way up to Senior Designer in a ladies wear company. Janeen has also been active in other programs for ‘real-life’ women throughout the years. She has worked in women’s fitness and weight-loss programs and she has led small support groups for women. Janeen’s strong fashion sense, coupled with her genuine care and concern for women and how they feel about themselves, enables her to teach women the principles of dressing well.
