Rule No. 1: It's not up to society, in-laws, ex-spouses, spouses, or anyone else to tell stepparents how they should conduct their step-parenting roles.
In a day and age when 1 out of 8 couples with kids are step-families, isn't it time for Hollywood to get real about families on television and in the movies?
