The Olympics are so inspiring aren’t they?

It’s such a delight to watch the athletes who’ve dedicated their lives to sport cross the finish lines and score winning goals, to see their families cheering them on from the sidelines, and then there’s the sportsmanship that could bring you to tears with pride. Canada has been well-represented both on and off the medal stand, and that’s pretty awesome if you ask me, and the many good news stories will continue to inspire us for years to come.

But for now, I’m concentrating on the outfits because OBSESSED.

I’ve already told you about my love for the figure skater-inspired dresses, but how can we forget the medals? At the end of the day, they’re really what it’s all about, aren’t they? After watching both our men’s and women’s hockey teams take home gold, I started thinking about all the gold, silver, and bronze gorgeousness that we can be wearing to feel almost like Olympians ourselves!

And here I am, watching the medal presentation and writing this post. Possibly with a beer in my hand.

Sure, there’s gold, silver or bronze jewelry but don’t forget about the other ways you can add these metallics into your wardrobe! Why not take a silver manicure for a spin, or sport a gold-sequined tee? Look for bronze buttons on your blazers, or grab belts and other accessories in medal-inspired metals.
