Cool, New Vibes at Sears Canada’s Pop-Up Shop

you may want to stop and take notice

Sears Canada

When a new store opens up on what has been deemed as one of “the coolest streets in the world,” you may want to stop and take notice. Situated between some of Toronto’s hippest shops and restaurants, Sears Canada has opened a new Pop-Up Shop – a shoppable showcase of the new face of the brand – at 322½ Queen Street West.

This shop is all part of the company’s latest rebrand, #weveCHANGED, featuring a whole new shopping experience with The Cut @ Sears as well as a new private-label offering.

From the moment you lay eyes on the window display at the pop-up shop, you know something has indeed changed. A cool - even edgy - yet clean look entices the shopper in to want to discover more.

Stepping into this new store, I can honestly say that it felt like a new and fresh approach on fashion and home products that I’d never seen before from this national retailer. There were so many little details and fabulous home décor pieces spread throughout all their clothing displays, it felt more like a cool boutique rather than a large department store.

The Cut @ Sears is a new approach for the retailer, offering their customers amazing home décor and the latest fashion trends at an incredible 30-60% off their regular prices. You can see this right away on the tags as the items showcase both the old and new price with a “compare at” feature.

Debuting alongside The Cut @ Sears is the new Sears-label essentials, which is a complete range of products that are all made from the highest quality materials yet at remarkable, consumer-friendly prices. We are talking everything from $5 glass-jar candles to $10 cotton t-shirts and $30 ladies shoes!

With the tunes pumping in the background and the clientele mostly under 30 years old, it’s safe to say that Sears Canada hit their target audience, Millennials, with this pop-up. But even as a mom slightly over that age, I still felt excited and comfortable to shop with my three kids in tow there.

The good news is, you don’t actually have to travel all the way downtown Toronto to visit this Pop-Up shop to experience The Cut @ Sears. This new line, as well as the new Sears-label, has now been rolled out in all stores, countrywide.

So, what are you waiting for?! Grab the family and head to your nearest Sears Canada store to check out these new collections, while enjoying the highest quality products at prices that can’t be beat! One thing I know for sure is that you WILL see how much they have in fact changed.
