Every week we find the best eclectic products and services around. Each review is clearly marked, letting you know if we bought it ourselves, want it real bad, or were given it for free. With Love it, Want it, Got it!, you'll always know you're getting an honest review.
Any drink you can imagine can be turned into a slush pretty much instantly. Pina coladas, margaritas, daiquiris are really just the beginning. And the ice compartment keeps the ice frozen for a surprising amount of time, even outside. It's easy to use and has so many different setting on ice texture and smoothness. It is a great hit for big outdoor parties unless you are the bartender, because then you will never be allowed to leave the side of this AWESOME machine.

WANT IT:
we're pining for this
Jeffree Star Skin Frost
I want this skin frost for several reasons, not least amongst them because it's very pigmented, unlike drugstore highlighters. Plus, it's cruelty free and the colour is warm, and despite the name, not "icy." Many highlighters go on very faintly, but since this one is quite pigmented it shows up on every skin tone. It also has a large palette size, so at $29 you are getting your money's worth, and I've found the quality of other Jeffree Star products is very good to excellent.

GOT IT:
an objective review of something we own
Betty Crocker Movie Nite Hot Air Popcorn Maker
Popcorn is the go-to snack at our house, especially when my daughter's friends come over to play.
Up to recently, I was popping kernels on the stove, with oil. We're talking old school. The method works well enough but as my kid and her friends get older, they eat MORE popcorn than my little pot can handle and frankly, standing at the burner waiting for every kernel to pop before the lower ones turn crisp and black, was becoming too much to handle.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how well it works. It’s not perfect, but neither am I, which means I’ll take the odd kernel spewed across the kitchen counter if I can whip up 10 cups of yummy goodness in less than 4 minutes without having to scrape scorched corn from the bottom of a pan.
