RECALL: Stoneridge Cycle Ltd. recalls Doodlezz Helmets

Products were sold from Canadian Tire stores across Canada

Health Canada has expanded its September 14 recall of Doodlezz helmets for children ages 5+ and youth ages 8+. 

Doodlezz helmets are white and sold with markers and cleaner. The recalled products have a sticker on the inside of the helmet and can be identified by the production lot numbers #SR0214110, #SR0215075, #SR0215053, #SR0214111, #SR0215054, #SR0215076, and #SR0215077.

According to Health Canada, the recalled products are sold to consumers with the inner foam liner in the helmet detached from the outer plastic shell, which poses a head injury hazard. Approximately 8200 units have been sold from Canadian Tire Stores across Canada between March 2015 and September 2016. 

Consumer should immediately stop using the recalled helmets and return them to the retailers for a refund.
