Lest We Forget: Remembrance Day

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

For every man and woman who has given us the freedoms that we so often take for granted, each year on Nov 11th, I acknowledge their sacrifices and give thanks.
