Lest We Forget: Remembrance Day

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

Take a moment from your day to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives so we could live in freedom.

My grandfather planned to be a pilot but when he was asked to take on this position, he accepted because he knew they were running out of men for this job.
