There is a new man in my life and his name is Scrub Daddy. I was initially attracted to his smile and bright colour but soon learned he was a huge help with the pots and pans. Scrub Daddy takes on all of my hand washables with gentle strength and isn’t afraid to get dirty. All he asks in return is for a ride in the dishwasher which revives him every time.

The latest sartorial objects of my affections are these absolutely stunning head wraps from The Wrap Life! If I had the coins, I’d snap up every one of these hand printed beauties right now. But because budgets are real things, I’ll be starting with a couple and building my collection over time. No more need for baseball caps. I’m going to own bad hair days like a Nubian Queen BOSS!
I don't have a garage. (My life sucks, basically.) But here's the thing: I agree with composting and I think it's important, as is my region's green bin program but because of my lack of basement, my basement storage room smells like I killed someone and forgot to hide the body. The little under-sink brown bin has bags that sweat and leak and you cannot get the smell out without burning incense and praying to gods unknown. Enter this thing I found at Home Hardware. It's easy to use and smell and leak proof and you just toss the whole thing (save the lid!) into your Green Bin when it's full. Finally my house smells the way it used to - like margarita mix and broken dreams.
