What is the "right" age to allow your kids to have a profile on Facebook? My son is 8 and I'm hopefully far away from this issue....

I let my boys have Facebook when they turned 12 and asked them to 'friend' me. My 11 yo daughter has been begging me for a year and apparently she is the last person on earth without Facebook. I'm holding firm. ~A
