This recipe calls for sweetened condensed milk, so naturally I reached for Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, a favourite ingredient I love to use in my recipes because of the smooth and delicious texture it adds to desserts.

Skewer Ingredients:
1 loaf cake (390g), cubed
24 large strawberries, tops off and halved
Dip Ingredients:
1 can (300mL) Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/4 cup strawberries, blended
3 tsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 lemon juiced
Skewer Directions:
Layer a loaf cake cube then a strawberry and repeat pattern until skewer is full.
Grill shortcake kabobs for two minutes on either side until they are warmed and have grill marks. That's it!
Dip Directions:
Combine Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, strawberries, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon in a large mixing bowl and beat on medium speed until smooth.
Pour into serving bowl and garnish with fresh strawberries with shortcake skewers on side. Enjoy!
