Tired Of Your Dawdling Toddler?

This works GREAT with dawdling toddlers:


"Are you going to come here to put your shoes on or am I carrying you over here?"


Give the child a choice where one of the options is that she can continue to do it on her own (and get to it), and other option is you do it for her. If the child picks to do it on her own but still moves in slow-motion, ask again.


Other examples:

"Are you going to put your toothbrush in your mouth or am I going to?"
"Are you going to finish getting dressed by yourself or I am helping you now?"
