RECALL: Evenflo Evolve 3-1 Combination Car Seat

The Evenflo Company Inc, manufacturer of baby and children's items has issued a voluntary recall on their 3-in-1 Combination Booster Seat. The seat, which parents can use for children from 22 - 120 lbs, have an issue with the harness tightening button. Children can access the button and the harness function can be loosened without an adult. 

The seats affected were manufactured carry two model numbers: 34411700 - manufactured between February 2015 until February 2016, and 34411741 - manufactured between May 2015 to February 2016.

Evenflo Company, Inc. (Evenflo) is recalling certain Evolve 3-in-1 Combination Booster Seats, model number 34411700 manufactured February 26, 2015, to February 9, 2016 and model number 34411741 manufactured May 27, 2015, to February 9, 2016. The affected seats have a button for adjusting the harness tightness. The child in the seat can access this button and loosen the harness without the caregiver’s knowledge.

Consumers who have registered their car seats will receive a kit to adjust the issue. Owners can also contact the company at their website, or by calling 1-800-233-5921. Close to 30,000 units have been sold.
