YMC.ca is so excited to announce that our annual Voices of Motherhood writing contest is coming back for the 5th year – and we think that this year is the time to include your unique voice!
From new moms to grandmothers, we want you to share your story. Voices of Motherhood is your chance to inspire, celebrate, educate, reflect, or even laugh about what it means to be a mom.
This year we want to honour and celebrate Canadian Motherhood in any way that comes into your personal story. We love humorous, thought-provoking, or heartfelt stories about motherhood, so long as pieces are original and connect with the theme celebrating motherhood.
This writing contest is an opportunity to put your creative juices to the test, so think outside the box and let your love for Canada – and motherhood – shine!
What can you write about? We're looking for funny stories, thought-provoking stories, or heartfelt stories about Canadian motherhood - whatever that means to you. From all the entries, 30 finalists will be chosen and judged according to the following criteria by our panel of experts - Canadian Moms!
This year's winners will have their stories published on YMC.ca plus receive prizing:
One Grand Prize winner will receive $500.
Two Second Place winners will receive $250.
Five Runner Up winners will receive $100.
