Five Spice Chicken Drumsticks Recipe

Sweet and spicy, this glazed chicken dish is amazing with soba noodle salad for a family friendly Asian themed dinner.  Make sure to marinate the chicken for a good long time to impart the flavor right into the meat. A Soba Noodle Salad would make the perfect side dish to these drumsticks.

2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
3 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp liquid honey
2 tsp finely chopped garlic
1/2 tsp Asian chili sauce
1 tsp five spice powder
3 lb chicken drumsticks or chicken pieces

Mix the teriyaki sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, chopped garlic, chili sauce, and 5 spice powder together in a bowl.  Pour over the chicken pieces in a dish and toss to coat.  Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 12 hours in the refrigerator.

Pre-heat the oven to 425 F. Bake on a foil lined pan for about 30 to 35 minutes until cooked through, basting occasionally with the remaining sauce.
