Salsa Tuna Roll Ups Recipe

Bring Boring Tuna To A Whole New Level

Salsa Tuna Roll Ups Recipe

Fast, cheap, tasty, and a good alternative to the traditional sandwich, these roll ups are perfect for school lunches.  Kids like things that are sliced and ready to eat when they are raring to get outside and play!  To keep the rolls from falling apart, secure them with toothpicks. I like lots of filling in mine, so I'm known to double it for the four tortillas, or only make two.

Ingredients:

1 can Clover Leaf solid light tuna in water, drained
1/4 cup of your favorite salsa
3 green onions, chopped
4 twelve inch tortillas
125 g (4 oz) spreadable cream cheese

In a bowl, stir together the tuna, salsa, and green onions, breaking up the bits of tuna as you go. Lay out the tortillas on the counter and spread them with cream cheese right to the edges. Divide the tuna mixture between the tortillas, spreading within an inch of the edges. Roll the tortillas up tightly, making sure that the cream cheese seals them. Slice into 2 inch pieces.

Makes 24 pieces
