Math scares me. Believe it or not, even though I'm the Prize Queen, I rarely enter contests myself. One of the reasons is that I'm afraid I will get a phone call and be asked to answer unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill-testing question. What if I get it wrong, even if I do have a calculator stationed by every phone.
Thank goodness, YMC's mathematical skill-testing question comes to our winners via email. I sure wouldn't want to call all our winners. What would I do if one of you got the answer wrong? Tell you sorry, you blew it, you can't have the prize? Does that actually happen with contests where they do call you? How else can you answer an " unaided, time limited, mathematical skill-testing question" if they don't phone you. I've always wondered that.
Anyway, what I thought was an easy mathematical question to answer, seems to be causing some confusion, even though you have time and a calculator on your side. No, I'm not going to give you the answer, but here's a tip.
THERE ARE NO BRACKETS, SO PLEASE DON'T ANSWER THE QUESTION AS IF THERE ARE BRACKETS!!!!!
