    Five Tips for Hanging Art

    How to make art look picture perfect

    Art is such an important part of any room. I am shocked by the number of homes I see where there is little to no art on the walls. But I do get it, art can be intimidating. People worry about matching their sofa, how much to spend or where to hang it. I think choosing art is very personal, but there are five basic rules that will make your art stand out in any room. 

    1. Hang art lower than you think. It should be at eye level when hung on a bare wall.The centre of the art should be about 60" above the floor.

    Five Fantastic All-Caps Fonts

    Fonts that will make your words pop!

    As I have said before, I am a font snob. I can spend more time choosing fonts then choosing images when writing a blog post. 

    I am usually not a fan of writing in all caps, but sometimes, like in a title, you need your words to pop. Here are five all caps fonts for those times when you need your words to stand out:

    DIY Chevron Tray

    This is the time of year when we all feed the need to be more organized. A great way to 'corral your clutter' is to use decorative trays throughout your home. They add colour and pattern and keep small every day items together in one place. I created this fabric covered tray for a recent Cityline segment. It now has a happy new home on my coffee table. For now, it holds flowers.
