Last weekend I was lucky enough to escape with my family to Clevelands House, along with several other YMC bloggers. It was my first time up north and the perfect end to an amazing summer. I loved everything about it.
It's no secret that I love vintage decor but sometimes I am not sure how to use some accessories without making my home look dated. Then I came across this photograph in the April issue of Chatelaine magazine:
When I fall in love with a design element, whether it's a colour scheme, accessory or furniture piece, I fall hard. I google it, I pin it, I picture it in the perfect place in my home. It becomes kind of an obsession.
