IKEA 2013 Catalogue Top Decor Picks

Stylish with a side of meatballs

It's no secret that I love IKEA. I have several IKEA pieces in my home and my marriage has survived many an allen key assembly. I even lugged a very heavy decor piece home from my days living in Stockholm because I could not bear to part with it.

Having a cup of tea and looking at every page of the catalogue is always fun for me, but this year it was even better {even though I had to view it online}. I love, love, love the fact that Ikea included so many DIY projects in this one. Be still my crafty heart! From painted furniture to fabric-wrapped frames, there is a ton of inspiration.

I've added a few things to my already long Want List. Here are my favourite picks from the new catalogue:

1. RASKOG kitchen cart $69.99
I love the colour and the functionality of this piece. I would totally use this in my laundry room or in the family bathroom.

2. ANGENAM bowl $19.99
I have had my eye on this bowl ever since I saw this amazing DIY project on the marion house book

3. IKEA PS 2012 glass door cabinet $499.00
How much fun would it be to style this cabinet? Every opening is made to look the a picture frame. This would mean hours of fun in my house. Which makes me think maybe I need to get out more.

4. IKEA PS 2012 rug $119.00
This rug would be so much fun in a child's bedroom or playroom. It comes in a few bright cheery colours.

5. VARLIG lantern $9.99
I love chevron in pretty much any form. It adds a nice texture and detail to the base of this lantern.

6. LAPPLJUNG RUTA cushion cover $9.99
How can you not love the black and white pattern on this cushion? And the price is amazing!

A lot.
