Swarovski Stars for Wishes Workshops

DIY Christmas Ornaments For A Great Cause!

Nothing says Christmas like making your own ornaments to hang on the tree! But with a million-and-one other things to do between now and December 25, who has time, let alone energy, to transform the living room into an arts and crafts studio? Not us!

That’s why we’re so excited about the Swarovski Stars for Wishes Workshop running every Saturday between November 19 and December 10 at the Toronto Eaton Centre.

Not only do you and your kids get to make your own glittery Christmas tree ornaments with sparkly Swarovski crystals—but you also get to support a really good cause!

For the past few years, Swarovski has been running these awesome family-friendly workshops in the Toronto Eaton Centre to help raise money for The Children’s Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children afflicted with a high risk, life-threatening illness. Each ornament kit is $20 and all proceeds go to Children’s Wish Foundation.

It’s totally win-win … and oh so Festive!

This year, we got so excited about the idea of ornament making, that we decided to get involved. Each Saturday morning one YMC blogger will be on site at the Swarovski Stars for Wishes Workshop to mingle with crafty families and partake in the fun!

So grab your kids and head down to the Eaton Centre! Workshops run from 10 am to 12 pm and take place in half-hour increments. Learn more about the Swarovski Stars for Wishes Workshop. Visit the Swarovski Gallery Store at the Toronto Eaton Centre or call 647-439-8584 to pre-register.

And, you never know, once you’re at the mall you might actually get some holiday shopping done!
