This just proved that kindred spirits come in all sizes and species - watching this gave me my warm fuzzy of the day and I wanted to share the feeling.

When my son was diagnosed with learning issues, I was devestated and terrified. What if my son couldn't make it through school? In retrospect I overreacted. With the right school and teachers, my son is excelling academically and socially. He just learns differently. When my husband sent me a link to this video about Rex, the musical prodigy, it made me think about the importance of patient, empathetic parenting.
Watch this stunning video to experience the magic of the human brain and the transcendent power of music, but more importantly, learn from the amazing mother that has helped Rex become the person he's supposed to be.
It seems, today, there are a good deal of negative updates on Facebook and Twitter. People just having a bad day, bad week, bad month. This winter has been dragging on so long, I think we have all felt a little bit of the winter blahs.
It seems there is light at the end of the tunnel. The beautiful weather today, tells me spring is on it's way. Not to mention the dozen or so robins that were feasting on my crab apple tree the other morning, so hang tight; it's almost over!!
I thought I would post this video to brighten people spirits and carry us through to better times.
You can't help but smile.
