Love might have been in the air the night your kids were conceived. But a recent survey in the Australian Daily Telegraph revealed that most of us would choose Zs over Xs.
Ok, so we know that both men and women cheat, but according to a new study published in the journal Archives of Sexual Behaviour, their reasons for being unfaithful are as chalk is to cheese.
Whereas men tend to stray for personal or intrinsic reasons, women do so because of external factors, such as problems within their relationship.
You have to hand it to them. At least they're an honest lot. When AskMen.com polled 7,600 Canadian men to see if they'd dump their girlfriend if she gained weight, half admitted that they would in a heartbeat.
According to the Vancouver Sun, more than three-quarters of Canadian men claim they're often, or somewhat often, romantic, even if one in five admits his top motivation for romance is sex.
All this time we've been led down the sexual garden path, believing men just want penetration while women prefer to 'spoon'. According to the Kinsey Institute, which surveyed 1,009 heterosexual couples in long-term committed relationships in five countries, that ain't necessarily so.
