I don't know about you, but I'm already a little sick of little Blue Ivy Carter. And she has only just left the hospital under the cloak of secrecy. Already proud daddy Jay-Z has cut a record about her. Poor mite doesn't stand a chance.
What's interesting about the track, "Glory feat. B.I.C.," recently posted on his Life + Times website, is not that it samples the newborn crying, but the heartbreaking revelation that the couple suffered a "tragic" miscarriage before conceiving Blue in Paris.
"We was afraid you disappeared," he raps, "but nah, dear, you magic."
Fans and friends were touched by the rapper's unabashed joy: "Words can't describe what I'm feeling for real / Baby, I paint the sky blue / My greatest creation was you."
Call me crazy, but isn't the sky already bleu?
