Can your Whiz Kid Win "Solve for Tomorrow" STEM Challenge?

$500,000 in Samsung Tech for Canadian schools

STEM education for children

Calling all kids and their teachers! Are you up to solving real-world problems using your STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) skills?

If you or your students are between grades 6-12, you could win all the glory and a share of $500,000 worth of Samsung tech for your school. Plus, the grand prize winners will have Mitch and Greg from AsapSCIENCE drop by for an ultimate science experience…

To participate, here’s what you need to do:

  • identify a community problem that you and your students feel passionate about
  • use STEM subjects to solve it

Click and submit. That’s all there is to it.

With careers in STEM increasingly in demand, it’s more vital than ever for kids today to get excited and involved in such projects.

Time and again, we are shown the immense potential our children have to create and innovate in their own right. Some students - like this young guy - don’t even wait until adulthood to come up with solutions that radically transform the lives of people in their communities.

“We hope the Solve for Tomorrow Challenge will help inspire students about the possibilities of STEM, encouraging them to reach their full potential and strengthen their communities,” said Mark Childs, Chief Brand Officer at Samsung Electronics Canada. “Plus, they’ll have the opportunity to win incredible technology and experiences for their school.”

Solve For Tomorrow is a partnership between Samsung Canada, AsapSCIENCE, The Learning Partnership, and Let’s Talk Science.

The contest closes 30 November 2015. To enter, or to find out more, visit solvefortomorrow.ca and follow #SamsungSolve on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for updates.
