RECALL: Fill Your Own Panda Play Food Container

Health Canada has recalled the above 250 mL (8 oz) and 500 mL (16 oz) stainless steel food containers after testing revealed that the containers contain excessive amounts of lead. If ingested, lead can harm children.

While neither Health Canada nor Fill Your Own has received any reports of incidents relating to use of the containers, customers are advised to stop using, and dispose of, the containers immediately.

Customers may contact Fill Your Own to request a replacement (unpainted) stainless steel lid via email or visit the company's website.

From July 1, 2010 to April 25, 2013, approximately 500 of the 250 mL (8 oz) steel food containers and 500 of the 500 mL (16 oz) steel food containers were sold in Canada.
