Holiday Card Shopping Made Easy

Top Three Places To Get Your Holiday Cards, And When To Mail Out Your Cards!

Holiday Card Shopping Made Easy

I know it can be an overwhelming task, every single year. Picture card, or traditional holiday card? Horizontal, or vertical? Classic Santa or something more fun? From the wording of the card to the pictures and colour scheme, I personally take forever when I'm shopping for my holiday cards. Often times, I'll mix them up, because I have such a hard time making up my mind!

But one thing is certain: I love sending out holiday cards.

And I also love making your job easy, too. Now you don't have to look around for hours on-line or in stores to find the perfect holiday cards.

I've put together a list of the Top Three Places you can get your holiday cards from this year:

Charity Cards: With a click of a button, you can select from countless, beautiful greetings cards for the holiday season at charitycards.ca, and at the same time, give back. The Children's Wish Foundation receives 20% of the sales of all Christmas Holiday Greeting Cards through Charity Cards. And with so many wonderful card options, you almost don't have to look anywhere else! (I'd also like to give a shout-out to my mother whose artwork is featured on one of the cards again this year!)

UNICEF: I'm a huge supporter of UNICEF Canada, and I always buy a pack of holiday cards every year to send to my friends and family. UNICEF recently partnered with Hallmark, too, so you'll be seeing a lot more of the cards in stores! You can pick up some holiday cards at Hallmark stores, IKEA, Walmart, fine art galleries, and Pier 1.

Chapters-Indigo: I seriously get all sorts of excited every time I see the holiday cards on display again at Chapters-Indigo. I can spend hours just looking through all the cards, while sipping my yummy holiday drink from Starbucks. The best part? Stocking up on holiday cards after December 25th, when all the cards get drastically reduced in price! Thinking ahead to next year takes the stress out of card shopping, too.

Now that I've helped take the stress out of holiday card shopping, you're going to have to remember to get some stamps and collect your addresses! Your job is to send out the beautiful cards you've selected and mail them out on time. Here's a helpful reminder from Canada Post about when you should mail your cards out by to ensure they arrive on time:

Local Delivery: December 19

Within Province: December 18

Outside Province: 17

United States: December 14

Happy card writing!
