Gurpreet fell in love, got married, had a darling baby girl, and is now rocking another pregnant belly. She’s more brown than blonde with blue eyes but can still appreciate hockey (kind of) and beer (not really). She is self-employed, self-motivated, self-declared neurotic, and thankfully, self-aware. Her cooking skills are subpar at best but her cleaning skills would win gold at the Olympics if that were a sport. Which it really sorta should be considering how hard some stains can be (grape juice, I’m looking at you) to get out of a pristine white chair. Gurpreet once received a Citizen of Distinction medal from the Queen of England and she likes to casually throw that into any conversation quite randomly. She's working on somehow getting a royal title next. She is Indo-Canadian, which really means nothing to most Canadians and usually means Mexican to most Americans. She is basically just trying to manage her life as best she can, one catastrophe at a time. She plans to one day conquer the world but for right now, she’d settle for winning the war against diapers and morning sickness. Bollywood Babies promises to take you along for the ride and maybe we can all figure it out together. Follow Gurpreet on Twitter: @BabiesBaublesVisit her at: Babies and Baubles

After her children were old enough to make their own sandwiches, she returned to University to complete her B.A. in English Literature—a designation which has provided her with an extensive library and crushing student loans. When no teaching college wanted her, she had to choose between taking orders through a drive-thru window or from an editor. She chose the latter.Jeni's son wants her attention and her teenager wants anything but. Her neighbours wish she would cut her lawn.  By day, Joe Boughner is a digital communications and marketing consultant with a penchant for hand talking and an over-reliance on caffeinated beverages. He has, at various points in his life, been a touring musician, acted as a celebrity guest judge at an amateur drag pageant, served as ballast and distributed delicious soft serve treats with a perfect cone-topping curl.  He even got cursed by a gypsy once. True story.  Joe also happens to be a loving husband and father of one human and one schnauzer. He builds a mean blanket fort, sings a bad-ass lullaby and has yet to find any embarrassing activity he won't do if it can make his daughter laugh. Kat Inokai is a creative director, producer, and mom. Sometimes she pretends she has her own reality show.  Balancing a business, a split marriage, a preschooler and potty training will do that to you.Trying Times is all about her most private life: hardships with loss and miscarriage, fertility clinics, the separation from her husband, adventures in co-parenting, and being single all over again. It's about staying real and raw, while grappling with personal ambition and passion projects through the lens of mummyhood. You never know what you're going to get with Trying Times. If it puts Kat outside of her comfort zone, and in touch with staying vulnerable, learning, self-discovery and connecting with others — it's fair game. Some people think Kat is nuts to put all this out in the public domain, and maybe she is. Lucky for you.Follow Kat on Twitter: @bumpandhustle as she tweets from the hip about business, motherhood, and the art of the whole shebang, and search #TryingTimes to stay on top of her latest videos and posts.

After spending years pulling her hair out writing for national newspapers, magazines and online publications, journalist Tanya Enberg is now pulling her hair for an entirely different reason — trying to learn the rather chaotic rhythms of parenting. When Tanya and her hubby were planning to start a family, she had no idea just how difficult the parenthood job would be, or how deliriously in love she would fall with their newborn squish. The intensity of joy that arrived with motherhood is incredible, mind boggling and, yes, unexpected.Fact: Until her son’s birth, Tanya had only ever changed one diaper, and that was on a plastic doll in pre-natal class and still she found it very, very challenging. Now, she can almost change diapers in her sleep and sometimes has.Oh, and she’s since learned all about onesies (and secretly wishes she could get away with wearing one), been peed on many, many times and has expertly mastered the art of the afternoon nap.As a lifelong travel junkie, Tanya is the co-founder of the website ChicSavvyTravels.com who hopes their little guy will also be bitten by the jet setting bug.Follow Tanya on Twitter: @TanyaEnbergVisit her at: ChicSavvyTravels.com
