The original "Fun With Auto-Correct" game (totally made up and ridiculous) takes advantage of Auto-Correct’s persistent need to decide on your behalf what twisted word you were mayyyyyyybe thinking of typing.
The updated version, "Dirty Duos" also relies on Auto-Correct’s inappropriate lexicon of crazy town word choices. But it's more streamlined and to the penis. Er, point. Curse you Autocorrect. Though, it sort of works that time.
Disclaimers:
1. My twisted friends T and A (I love their initials—the quintessential Dirty Duo.) came up with this game.
2. If you are under a deadline, you will be tempted to play this game to avoid work. I know this from experience.
3. If you accidentally send a Dirty Duo text to the wrong person it could be disastrous. Or, it could possibly get you a date.
Here’s how to play!
1. Choose a friend to text.
2. Type ONE dirty word. Need examples? I have lots. It can be a body part, an action, a curse word, whatever blows your hair back.
3. Type in one space and then start typing random letters until your phone ACs them into an actual word which will be your second word.
4. If the word pairing is offensive or just makes you laugh, hit send.
5. When they write back with a resounding, “wtf?” which they will, explain the game and then challenge them to send one back.
There is no actual purpose to this game but it's a great way to pass the time while you’re waiting in line for a coffee.
