You've probably heard it already, but Steve Jobs, technology pioneer, and CEO of Apple, has passed away after battling pancreatic cancer.
He was an amazing visionary, leader, and one of the smartest tech minds of our generation. He will be missed by geeks the world over, but his mark on the world will never be forgotten.
I wanted to share with you one of my favourite speeches by Steve. It's from the commencement address he gave at Stanford University in 2005.
In this speech Steve says one of my favourite quotes of all time.
"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other peoples thinking. Don't let the noise of others opinions drown out your inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
Steve's technological forward thinking left a mark on our generation that ensures that his legacy will live on.
