Alternative Rock band OK Go is known for putting out trendy and technologically cool music videos. Not to be outdone by any other band, they have worked with Google Japan and choreographer Pilobolus to create one of the coolest music videos I’ve ever seen.
The video for ‘All is not lost’ is an interactive video that uses new HTML 5 to become a kaleidoscope of coolness when run in the Google Chrome browser. The interactive video version converts your personal message into a very special font at the end that you really have to see to believe.

Have you seen the Google street view trike?
In 2009 Google launched street view maps for most Canadian cities. Since then, Google has gone out of its way to try and get street view imagery of places that the typical Google vehicles just couldn't get to. Enter - the Google street view trike.
The Google street view trike is in Toronto right now, and you're probably wondering what it looks like, well here it is! With 9 cameras, and a more mobile frame, it can easily get into town squares, college campuses, or even inside stadiums and theme parks.

Would you spy on your husband’s text messages? How about your child’s emails? A new survey from Retrevo found that a surprising number of people snoop on their loved ones.
In the survey:
30% of men and 35% of women responded "yes", when asked if they have ever checked the email or call history of someone they were dating without them knowing
32% of men, and 41% of women reported checking their spouses or partner's email, or call history without them knowing
When asked if they had ever checked their child's email or call history without them knowing, 36% of men, and 39% of women said "yes"
And helicopter parents - print and frame these stats for the next argument at your house - when parents were asked specifically if they would track their teenagers whereabouts using technology, 64% of moms and 53% of dads confirmed they would.
All of these numbers have gone up slightly since last year, but I'm not really shocked by any of them. I think when the Geekling is of age, I'll be keeping my eyes on his technology usage pretty closely. I think I'd draw the line at using a GPS app to track his every movement, but call me crazy, for some reason the idea of doing it actually doesn't seem that wrong to me. If he was going somewhere I wasn't familiar with, or with people I wasn't sure of, you can be sure I'd be using whatever I could to make sure he's safe.
