The very first time I met Erica Ehm I made it very clear to her that I wanted to be on TV. I've always been a bit of an attention seeker—I have strong opinions and I never really shied away from sharing them, and I've never met a camera I didn't like. I'm not very shy after all. And even knowing all of that Erica took a chance on me and let me start writing this blog even though I was loud, had strong opinions, and had never written anything before.
I’m going to venture out of my typical celebrity bubble here for a minute and talk about something that has bothered me lately. Recently, Lego announced that it was going to introduce a ‘pink’ line of Lego blocks marketed towards girls, and the whole world went up in arms over it. How dare they think that girls would only play with Lego because it was pink!
Here we are, at the end of another great year and counting down the best and worst of what 2011 had to offer us. Of course, when it comes to celebrity news 2011 gave us many gifts, good and bad. I will be wrapping up this year with a variety of my Top 10 lists just like I did last year, and to kick things off I will start with my Top 10 biggest breakups in entertainment news. I have to admit now that my daughter is 9 there’s more Wizards of Waverly Place than there are Belle’s and Snow White’s in my house, but that doesn’t mean I’m any less excited to see Disney’s Beauty and the Beast when it’s re-released in theatres this January in Disney Digital 3D!
And not only am I excited to go see it, but I am lucky enough to have a family pass for 4 for 1 lucky winner in Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto, Waterloo, Winnipeg and Vancouver to see it on Saturday, January 7th! How awesome is that!

As publicly as she announced her 20th pregnancy, Michelle Duggar was recently forced to announce that she has tragically miscarried what was to be her 20th baby. Sigh. You knew this would happen, didn’t you? Lindsay Lohan, who last week was sentenced to 30 days in jail for probation violation, reported to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, CA last night at 8:48PM PST to begin serving that sentence. She was released less than 5 hours later. I’d say that 5 hours in jail beats 30 days of house arrest any day.
OK so here’s a shocker, after 72 days of marriage Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from her husband Kris Humphries. Because apparently a 10 million dollar wedding can’t buy you happiness after all, or at least it can’t buy you the kind of fame and fortune that you thought it would.
Halloween is just a few days away but this is the weekend that will be filled with all the parties. If you’re still struggling with what to dress up as and are tired of the usual ‘witch’ and ‘devil’ look maybe these celebs can give you a bit of inspiration.
