OK so here’s a shocker, after 72 days of marriage Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from her husband Kris Humphries. Because apparently a 10 million dollar wedding can’t buy you happiness after all, or at least it can’t buy you the kind of fame and fortune that you thought it would.
Clearly this current announcement doesn’t surprise me, I wrote all about the wedding and the eventual ‘marital strife’. But what does surprise me is that the Kardashian Klan still thinks that people care. E! Online (the network that carries all of the Kardashian reality shows) even released a statement saying;
"All of us at E! are surprised and saddened by this news, and we send our support to Kim and Kris at this difficult time. The Kardashians have always been uniquely open with all aspects of their lives from joyous events to intimate moments to heartbreaking transitions. E! will continue to share the fascinating real lives and larger-than-life existence of this close-knit family."
Because while they respect them and are saddened by the news, don’t think for one minute that they won’t be airing every single moment of this divorce! Hell I’m just waiting for the special 2 part ‘divorce extravaganza!’ They're already covering it from every angle possible on their website.
Kim also released a statement via E! saying "I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision, I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best." Um, of course it was an easy decision, you’ve only been married 72 days! I’ve taken longer than that to decide on paint colour for my living room!
I don’t care about reality stars who want to use their 15 minutes of fame to sell their latest book or to put their name on their own line of perfume but I think that when you start selling out every small detail of your private life – when you’re willing to BE MARRIED in order to make a buck, there is something seriously wrong with you and the family that supports you.
Of course Kim will tell you that she’s agonized over this but she’s currently off in Australia with her sister Khloe promoting her new handbag line, so clearly this was nothing more than your run of the mill business decision and Kris Humphries just happened to be caught in the crossfire.
So while we can be disgusted with the excess that was the Kardashian wedding and we can be appalled that there would be a divorce filing only months later, we can also take a little enjoyment in the fact that maybe this will signal the beginning of the end for the Kardashian Klan. Maybe this will make people wake up and realize that they are simply exploiting themselves just to make a buck, and there is no limit to what they will exploit to do so.
So if you’ve have enough of the Kardashian excess, simply stop. Stop watching the shows, stop buying the products and stop making them into the celebrities that they are. I promise you, you won’t regret it.

Halloween is just a few days away but this is the weekend that will be filled with all the parties. If you’re still struggling with what to dress up as and are tired of the usual ‘witch’ and ‘devil’ look maybe these celebs can give you a bit of inspiration.
I already gave you a look at my Top 10 Celebrity kid costumes for Halloween, now here are my picks for Mom and Dad.
Anne Hathaway as Cleopatra
The always gorgeous Anne Hathaway is a vision in her Egyptian Queen costume. This one would be relatively easy to pull off at home too with a white dress and Cleopatra wig.
Natalie Morales/Pauly D as Justin Bieber
There’s something about seeing grownups dressed as Justin Bieber that just makes me laugh. The Today Show correspondent and Jersey Shore Guido both donned their hoodies and flipped their hair to go as the pop superstar, although I think Natalie could have almost pulled off a ‘Tina Fey goes as Justin Bieber’ look better than the 'Justin Bieber' look!
Roberto Cavalli as Karl Lagerfeld
This is one of my favourite costumes because I had to do a double take when I saw this picture. Love love love that designer Roberto Cavalli had the sense of humour enough to dress up as fellow designer Karl Lagerfeld. Hilarious.
Martha Stewart and Blake Lively as Medusa and Cleopatra
Martha Stewart looks fabulous as the evil Medusa and Blake Lively once again shows that the Cleopatra look can be easy to pull off and lovely.
Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman as Zombie Bride and Groom
I know they’re not together anymore but this was one couple who always embraced Halloween! Zombies have never been cooler so if you and your significant other are looking for a great costume idea, copy from these two and zombie-fy yourself!
Brad Pitt as DJ Lance Rock
I always love when even the superstars get in on the Halloween spirit! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie brought their kids out trick or treating and even dressed up themselves. While Angelina went the more typical ‘zombie/vampire’ route Brad went all out as Yo Gabba Gabba front man DJ Lance Rock. Orange looks good on him.
Jessica Alba as Dora The Explorer
Honestly this has to be one of my fave celeb looks because it’s just so easy to pull off but so adorable too! What parent isn’t aware of who Dora is?! Jessica looks perfect as the iconic children’s character and this is a nice alternative to the typical cleavage baring costumes.
Courteney Cox as Cinderella
Even though she’s in character for her show ‘Cougar Town’, Courteney Cox shows that even grown women like to dress like a princess sometimes too.
Heidi Klum as Hindu Goddess Kali
Now if there was one celebrity to go all out on Halloween it would be Heidi Klum! I could do an entire top 10 post on her costumes alone! I love this Hindu Goddess costume though –and it looks like Heidi is a fan too!
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon as The Incredibles
Here’s another couple who take their Halloween very seriously! These two always dress in co-ordinating costumes and this year they added in their adorable twins Moroccan and Monroe. Fab idea.

Well the countdown is on to Halloween and so is the pressure to get the perfect costume for your little one! This year I will have one skeleton, two vampires and one pirate girl to get ready. I thank hand me-downs and Value Village for pulling together our looks this year. Honestly I love it when the whole family gets involved! The former ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ stars take their Halloween very seriously. How cute is little Satyana dressed up as a monkey and a kangaroo and coordinating perfectly with her parents!
Honor Marie Warren – daughter of Jessica Alba and Cash Warren
Probably one of the cutest little Swiss Misses you will ever see! Little Honor has a baby sister to dress up with this year but I bet she’ll still steal the show.
Brooklyn and Cruz Beckham – sons of David and Victoria Beckham
I love the Beckham boys so much – maybe because I have 3 sons of my own and they’re all so cute together - but these boys are just so cute! Add in a Batman and Iron Man costume and they are just downright adorable!
Kingston and Zuma Rossdale – sons of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale
These brothers rival the Beckham boys as Hollywood’s most adorable celeb brothers that’s for sure! Again I love when the entire family gets in on the dressing up with Gwen looking perfect as Jessie from ‘Toy Story’. Kingston and Zuma are both super cute and warm as dinosaurs.
Suri Cruise – daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise
Of course Suri Cruise would be dressed up as a princess! She is the reigning princess of Hollywood kids after all. Proving that even celebrity kids are just as obsessed with the Disney Princesses as our little girls are, Suri is a very cute Cinderella.
Violet Affleck – daughter of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck
Violet Affleck has to be hands down one of the cutest kids in Hollywood and seeing her in this bunny costumes just confirms that. Simply adorable.
Willow Smith – daughter of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith
I love Willow Smith’s Witch costume! She shows that you can be festive but still dress appropriately for a young girl. Super cute!
Joaquin and Lola Consuelos – son and daughter of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos

James Wilkie Broderick – son of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick
Nothing says Halloween like a good old superhero costume! Always a staple for young boys even the Hollywood crowd loves Superman. James makes a great superhero.
Henry Samuel – son of Heidi Klum and Seal
Heidi Klum and husband Seal take Halloween very seriously! Here is a picture of their son Henry again sporting the superhero look and getting into character as Spiderman. Seriously this couple has some of the cutest kids I have ever seen!
